Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Clearhull website (the "Service") operated by Clearhull, based in Budapest, Hungary ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Clearhull is a web-based platform that helps boat buyers arrange preliminary inspections ("First Look Inspections") through independent marine professionals ("First Mates").
We act only as an intermediary that connects users with these independent providers. Clearhull does not perform inspections itself and is not a party to any agreement between users and First Mates.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• provide false or misleading information;
• misuse or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service;
• post or transmit any harmful, illegal, or offensive material;
• impersonate any person or entity.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service at any time if we believe your use violates these Terms.

3. Accounts and Information

You may need to provide basic contact details to request or coordinate an inspection.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

4. Role of Clearhull

Clearhull provides the platform and coordination tools only.
All inspections are performed by independent First Mates, who are solely responsible for the quality and accuracy of their work.
Clearhull does not verify, guarantee, or assume liability for any inspection outcome, communication, or agreement between users and First Mates.

5. Payments

At this stage of operation, online payment functionality is not yet active.
When introduced, Clearhull may provide a secure payment process acting as an intermediary between users and First Mates. Any updates to payment handling will be reflected in a revised version of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Clearhull or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Clearhull is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on information provided through it.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or reliability of the Service or of any information provided by First Mates.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, its functionality, or the results of using it.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Budapest, Hungary.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be posted on our website with the date of the last update. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
